Once that's done, we'll send you and email to confirm we've got your email address correct. When that's taken care of we'll get to work on getting your new account setup. This can take anywhere from an hour to a day depending on the where the prison or jail is located. When your account is all ready to go, we'll send you another email that will contain your new Fair Rates Number™ and instructions on exactly how to use our service to start saving money on your inmate phone calls.
Here are a few key things you should know:
1. There's no setup fee for new
customers!
2. The monthly charge to keep your Fair Rates
Number™ active is $7.95.
3. We try to setup your account within
24-hours but this is not always possible.
4. The first time the inmate calls your Fair
Rates Number™ it will be FREE.
5. You will need to keep a positive balance on
both the jail's inmate phone system and your FairRates.org
account.
6. We charge $.50 cents per call to any U.S.
destination. No per minute fees or complicated monthly plans.
